The Battle of Arnhem
The Battle of Arnhem was a battle in 1944, also known as Operation Market Garden (41). The battle was a resistance plan made by the Allied countries to keep Germany from transporting. One thousand men were dropped in Arnhem to close off the bridges to Germany (41). Though there wasn't much that went on within this battle, because the British army failed to breach the River Waal (41).
